Mantras are sacred words of power. The ancient sages knew how powerful words can be. A word is like a seed. It contains a myriad of meanings and associations. A mantra is specifically designed to elicit divine experiences. Some religious and spiritual people recite their mantras continuously. It is their way of remembering the divine and evolving. Christians too have their own holy words and prayers. For example: So be it, Amen, Our Father.
A mantra does not necessarily have to be spiritual. The word mantra has now entered the everyday lexicon. These days it just means a word that is repeated. Meditation and affirmations are now quite commonplace in the West. Even business people take up meditation. But it isn’t necessarily because they are overtly spiritual. So whatever happens is sanctioned and permitted by the Universe. WHATEVER happens will happen for my own growth and evolution. This is the power of WHATEVER. WHATEVER will be, will be.
